You Know What You Know

Many first-time authors share this same fear: "I want to write a book, but I'm frightened I don't know enough."

I've worked with dozens of first-time authors, and it always turns out that they know far more than they realize.

What they see as common sense because of their experience and knowledge is like gold dust to people who don't have that experience and knowledge.

Everyone knows the saying “You don't know what you don’t know.” For most people it’s just as accurate to say that, “You don’t know what you do know.”

Until you start actually writing a book, it's unlikely you realize quite how much you know about your chosen field.

So if writing a book is on your list, get in touch … and prepare to be astonished by your own wisdom.
