Why Lawyers Should Write Books

The first time I wrote a book with a lawyer, I assumed it would be a little middle of the road. Stuffy. Beige.

Outside TV shows and movies, lawyers don't have a reputation for being particularly interesting.

I couldn't have been more wrong.

Fiercely distinctive individuals. Clashing opinions. Entrepreneurial innovation. White hats, black hats, and grey hats. PTSD. Cultural wars. Power struggles. Financial jeopardy. Political overreach.

All being discussed by some of the smartest minds of their generation, who are used to thinking deeply about society and its issues in a logical, penetrating, and articulate way.

Just the sort of people who should write books. And just the sort of people ghostwriters like to work with.
