Use TK
If you're writing your book, you need to know the two most useful letters in the alphabet: "T" and "K."
When you're in a flow state, and you come across something you need to look up or a phrase you can't think of.
Don't stop.
Type in "TK" and carry on.
That's the publishing abbreviation for "to come."
Why not "TC"?
Because TK is such a rare combination of letters it couldn't possibly mean anything in any manuscript about any subject. It can't be inadvertently joined to another word in front of it or behind it.
It's also easily searched in a manuscript. It calls attention to itself and tells everyone, "This needs to be completed."
It's the writer's greatest friend.
It allows you to park a problem, dodge a roadblock, [TK a third phrase] … and keep on writing.
